Naqsh-e Jahan Square also called Imam Square

Naqsh-e Jahan square is one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Its length is 512 m and its width is 160 m. There are two storey high rooms built on each side of this square. There are also four historical sites located near this square.

Ali Qapu Mansion, Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, the gate of Qeysarie Bazaar, and in the middle of the main square there is a field and two stoned gates. The current Imam Square is the main place for selling handicrafts and also a place to do the religious rituals.  Every Friday the Friday prayer is held there.
